Its a dangerous world out there. You should be afraid. You're not? Then you better watch your back... Just be super careful and don't get too close to the dark.

The year is 2605. The Earth is in a dire state. The human race has fallen from glory. They misused the resources of the Earth for too long and it was their downfall. Sea levels rose rapidly, cutting off many land masses. There was no source of energy, since all the fossil fuels were gone and no alternative had been found to work well enough. World weather took a turn for the worse. Tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis became commonplace. Civilisation was destroyed. Most of the human race was wiped out. A few humans survived, but they live in small cut off communities. For all intents and purposes, the human race is extinct. They will never recover and rule the world again.

Many species of animals have also become extinct. A few species survive, one of those being the horse. The horse has evolved over time, to cope with the new environment in which it has to live. No longer is the herd instinct strong. With most of the natural predators being wiped out, the horse has nothing to fear from the outside world. Indeed, the danger is now fellow horses. Forced to adapt to cope with the harsh living conditions, new hierarchies have formed. Survival of the fittest and the strongest has been taken to a new level.

There are now two types of horse. The master and the slave. The master has all the power. They control the slaves, quite literally. They control their food, their water, what they do, their whole life. The slaves have no option but to comply. Some do try and fight back, but they always get beaten down in the end. For the slaves, there seems to be no hope. The hierarchy has been established and there doesn't seem to be an uprising coming any time in the future. Or is there?

Rumours are spreading among the slaves of a small group of rebels. These rebels live in lands undiscovered by the masters. They are only a small group, but steadily they are growing in number. Every now and then a slave will break free. Many of them stumble across a rebel, who blend in perfectly with the masters and are invited to join the revolution. A time of turmoil is coming. The only question is, who's side are you on?
