the little femme sighed lifelessly as she sat under a huge oak tree that was in the center of one of the emty pastures. the ivory precipitation had acted like a freezer around her little frame, and her jacket continued to stay under her body for a little bit of warmth. the large ebony bodice of the equine was laying beside her, his large dome resting on her thighs quietly as his orbs closed, slowly falling into a little cat nap. her pale digits ran along his cheek lightly as she looked down to him, only to find a smile cross over her features, then resting her tiara against the trunk of the large oak. her bright pink vest was wrapped around her chest adding warmth, aswell as the bronc's tiara thatc ontinued to add excessive heat to her legs. the i-pod bud in her left ear continued to create music while she exhaled and watched as the mist swallowed some of the air around her. { alright hun, time to get up. } lyrics escaped tot he equine who brought his head up, then moved into an laying upward position. as the female stood quietly and brushed off her jacket that she ended up putting on, she took a step back and watched as the large ebony stallion struggled to get up, almost wiping out fromt he lack of use in his left front pillar.
eyes watched him carefully as they slowly mosied through the pasture, they're legs pushing the bleached blanket of snow out of their way, leaving nothing but a path. the brute beside her still had the dramatic limp that chipped at her heart with every stride, and the sound of his out of breath would make her stop, allowing the large warmblood to have a short rest, before they would continue their path back to the barn. the stud's ears remained in a forward position, though his body told another story, his eyes prooved the effort and pain each stride was, and his body seemed limp and like it was dragging.
finally back at the barn, resa placed the large warmblood in his asigned stall and gave him another flake of hay, touched up his water and gave him a few baby carrots. a small giggle was released toward the equine, long chocolate painted locks falling over her shoulders in a lifeless manner. bright blue orbs shifted along the barn isles, the sky above was quite a threat. threatening to snow. what a fun topic. lungs exhaled lightly as she entered the lounge of the barn. the warmth tangled with her freezing frame as she moved across the room, placing herself on the couch and to contently stare at the lounge TV blankly.
somehow the auction came to mind, not that she had anything else better to do, why not go pick apart every single horse that ran through the auction. with that thought glued to mind, she quickly stoody and swiftly strided toward the parking lot where her large 1998 dodge ram cummin's dually start. a black with a red stripe along the middle of the sides truck. smiling lightly, she comfortably sat in the driver seat and brought the vehicle to life. music quickly coming to life, and she turned it up just a bit before she threw the automatic into drive and she pulled out of the large parking lot.
after a quick drive, the femme quickly slowed the truck down as she pulled into the parking lot of the auction. she was a bit late, missed the first bit of tack & all the farm animals. once the truck was locked, and she had the large bag over her shoulder containing only a few dollars, a couple of credit cards, a few bank cards, her cell phone and little extras such as gum, mascara & keys. before she attended the auction, she had stopped at home for a few things, and quickly got changed and had a shower cause her body felt numb after resting in the snow for so long. so now she wore a pair of navy skiny jeans, a pair of ug boots, a few layering tanktops and then just a little extra, a long sleeved shirt, that was open in the front, and the cloth extended into a sway effect after just before her hips.
the female walked into the auction barn, she had only a few minutes to look around, and didn't spend too much time. her once long stright locks turned into decently sized waves that laied over her shoulders. heavy side bangs were down, though she still had the bump in her hair. once she took a quick glanced at the horses, most of thier conformation was horrid, which was rare for the the cherry creek auction barn, but she said nothing. a few were skinny from the lack of groceries pumped into their systems, some were drugged - surprise.
sighing lightly, she paced herself back to the auction ring, where she stood, looking down to the ring, with many of others, though most tried crowding around the little ring. nothing really good seemed to run through the auction, so she only stood there, looking at the variety of equines that were ran through. fear filled their bodies, some were trembling, and it only seemed to scratch at her heart a little bit. but when there was a late entry, her brow rose, knowing that the auction owner - kenny must of had a soft spot for this 'late entry.' she couldn't help but choke on her own heart when the young danish warmblood gelding had tripped into the ring, fallowing a stockier built palomino. noticing the fear in his eyes, sent a stab at her heart, his colours were remarkable, a pale golden colour, with the ivory mane & tail to match it. his orbs were a dark chocolate painted colour, his body was an awkward gangly looking piece of crap really. he was far to skinny for his age, his hindquarters were higher than average - probably because he was about to grow again, his hips were showing, aswell as each rib. his forlock was long and hid his eyes well when he finally decided to stand in the center of the ring, trembling. his mane was gorgeous if it would have been brushed, but due to neglection, this horse wasn't quite as stunning as it could be.
her eyes locked on the little palomino, he could have easily passed as a three -four year old, but she was quite shocked when she heard that this registered danish warmblood gelding was only two. his name had been apollo what a gorgeous name. his registered name anyways. as the bids went up, she jumped to the end of the story { thirty four hundred! } lyrics slipped from her mouth as she showed the auction card. really, why would ever get those things when they cost her nothing but trouble. she knew she would end up getting quite the earful when she got home, but the thought was pushed aside as she instintly got into a bidding war, finally, the bid settled at five thousand. "going once.." she heard the auctioneers voice over the loudspeaker. her eyes fell back onto the golden equine, a resemblance of black bueaty. the other one that they spoke about seemed to be invisable to her, but that pathetic looking thing just had to become hers.

silence seemed to fill her stisfied mind as she listened to the auctioneer ramble for his own words, finally another voice broke into her thick skull. “Five fifty!” a scowl formed deep into her vocals as her deep sapphire orbs glared down toward the girl below her. she looked perfect. long brunnette hair, a face that probably wouldn't win any prizes, orbs that proved her strength, and money seemed to be her weakness. a smirk tugged at her features on her mask as she leane don the pole, effortlessly throwing her hand up witht he bidding card, though she said nothing, only eyed the female under her. "six!" the auctioneer screamed into the microphone, going on again into rambling his voice, asking for a million other numbers.
so what caused determination in her mind again. her eyes fell on the two gangly looking palominos from the same breeder. the one darker, palomino seemed to be stronger built, the other one gangly, and just fucking ugly. great. aunt sherri was going to kill her, though she continued to raise the bids until six fifty before she stopped, knowing she was gunna get her ass kicked the moment she pulled into the stable with a horse trailer, and a pathetic looking palomino, a gelding. not even worth much.
sighing lightly, resa shifted on the railing, standing between two other guys who had taken note that she had come from bridlewood. long curly chocolate painted locks swayed over her shoulders as she glanced at the palomino black bueaty look-a-like. god the thing was ugly. thankfully she was small, cause the gelding didn't look like he was going to be huge like zamiro, the beast sitting in his stall, getting fat because of a tendon injury. and that was when she heard the words "SOLD!" her brow raised in satisfaction as the auctioneers voice was directed to her, hearing her name on the loud speaker, she smiled lightly. when she was asked which one she wanted to take, she thought twice.
the better, more solid built gelding was quite an eye catcher in the ring compared to the fucking ugly thing fallowing it like a little brother. she continued to go silent, watching as they scrambled around the ring, she smiled lightly towards the bigger built one, though her lyrics said something totally different. { Number 93 } her voice sang towards kenny, who looked towards her, smiled, said congrats, then looked to the second highest bidder. after another glare, she looked to find that this female was from bridlewood. great. now she could try and tell her aunt that she sold the more, 'money making' one to another student at the stable. she sighed lightly, her name was unfamilar and probably far from important. she either had the nicer built palomino, or she could turn him down, but a funny feeling told her that this young lady was going to take the horse.
short legs carried the female down behind the auction, where the gangly looking thing was located. when she got closer to the palomino, she realized just how large her mistake was of buying him was. apollo, a good eyecatching name in the show ring, with a little bit of groceries, he could maybe turn out to be a nice horse, but nothing but time will tell, besides he was only a year and half. he had a mane and tail from hell already, his forlock covered his sweet chocolate orbs the showed nothing but the temptation of affection and slight fear from being in a new area. "i heard that teresa takes horses to her aunts stables and they turn any horse into hundred thousand dollar show animals." her audits picked up the voice of younger children interacting, causing her head to turn around, though he snapped back to the golden equine.
the equine was put into her hands, the leather leadline interacting with her pale digits, and her stomach suddenly felt warm. amazingly, the golden equine was standing there, his velvet kissers pushed lightly into her stomach caviity. way to steal her heart. oh this could be fun. resa sighed lightly and quickly gave the brute a quick pat, and in no time gary, one of kenny's auction helpers had come around, asking if she needed one of bridlewood's trailers, and sure enough, resa threw him her keys to the truck and the returned to the young equine. she had requested a few flakes of hay, and clean water, and kenny had got it to her in no time. without hesitation, resa offered the materials to the equine in a pan and he stood there, quickly munching on the hay.
it was much like an embrassment standing in the same pen as this pathetic equine, but she couldn't help but leave him, whenever she tried, he would quickly fallow her to the gate, leaving the hay without a issue. he was full of curiousity, which was good thing. she leaned on the fence, chatting with kenny for a bit before he had left, and she just continued to wait for her truck and a trailer to come back.
